Despite the usual knee trembling moments i thought we did ok... just ok.
Probably deserved the 2-1 win on balance which although doesnt reverse the pathetic shitshow we've seen thus far but I'll take the win.
    Pity about Woodrow's penalty miss.

should have been a retake , their keeper was nearly on the penalty spot before Woodrow took it!

Can't believe he took Cole off at half time though.

Full marks for innovation though , I’d never even have considered waving Collins up for EVERY corner right from the start.

Shame about the scoreboard packing in again in the second half

An entertaining Boxing Day match. Both sides evenly matched, so it was nice to see us get all 3 points. I thought the penalty decision was harsh on Stoke, although the referee's guide dog was quick enough to point at the spot, so what do I know?

Credit where it's due - the maintenance team went above and beyond before kick-off, working like demons in the pouring rain, to mend that broken sprinkler.

Also on the positive side, my wildebeest burger was really tasty. Thumbs up for Lee's catering crew.

Well that certainly brings a bit of excitement to the match. Though knee tremblers aren’t that usual where I sit, sadly.

One complaint, it took forever to get out of the car park behind the Ponty after the match. Not good enough BFC, get it sorted :D:D

As usual I managed to get away quickly due to Beevor Court being open again.
I once heard a while back that it was taking some folk an hour or so to get away from Grove Street at which point I was between Gainsborough and Lincoln near home.

Never a penalty anyway. had a good view from my seat near the directors box in the West Upper. (club kindly moved a family who had sat there since the 79/80 season for us)...
but at least the complimentary mince pies and brandy went down well..

Not hard really. Only got one, in the 88th minute. Did you not notice we had 4 other players back on our own line though. ?

Good game yesterday, I really enjoyed it and to be honest I don’t think it was a penalty, when was giving an opposition player a wedgie considered a foul.

thought Mads was pushing the rules though trying to get away with his call of ‘nearest one to the nets is goalie’:p

( think I’m actually starting to prefer these games )
