............for a member of the chip on the shoulder, I'm goody two shoes, I'm taking the moral highground - can't offend the ethnic minority brigade to reply to the followng: What does a typical Pakistani weigh(Answer below): ..........Cola Cubes, Midget Gems, Wine Gums ETC ETC
There was no need for that.. ... disgraceful exibition of poor spelling!
Kola Cubes began with a "K" if I am not mistaken! Oh the bloody standards of today.

Such an outdated view on society There aren't too many places these days that you can buy sweets that are kept in jars and weighed out for you.
Yes there is The corner shop half way up Birdwell near the entrance to the Rec. But you've got to buy in grams! :-(
and that one at the top of whatever street it is on the way to the ground. Crawlin with supporters of both teams gerrin their bags of weighed up sweets.

More than I thought then Hardly seen any....then again, not frequenting many purveyors of confectionary items may also have something to do with it!
RE: More than I thought then I always think its crap how you can no longer by a quater of spice, you have to order in grams now FFS.
Why can't you order a quarter then? There was the ruling that shops couldn't display prices for things other than in metric, but people could still order in imperial weights, just that the shop assistant would have to convert. Same at the deli counter in supermarket, you get some people asking in imperial weight and others in metric. Besides - the EU have now back tracked on imposing metric weights on the UK.
RE: Why can't you order a quarter then? Well all i know is that the last time i tried to order some spice think it wasa quarter ofYorkshire mixtures the woman behind the countersaid that she couldn't sell me a quarter, i had to order it in grams.
