And film starts etc would just be honest about how they end up looking like they do rather than trying to pretend it's potatoes and porridge or eating 6,000 calories a day that's their secret. We talk (rightly) about how the media destroys girls' body image and confidence with unrealistic standards but nothing is said about the fact that everyone pretends that you just need to go to the gym and eat a lot to get massive when the truth involves an industrial amount of steroids. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-68308809
He must be a Poppy O Toole fan as she's known for loving potatoes. https://www.poppycooks.com/series/a-z-of-potatoes/
No idea why anyone would want to look like this. a friend of mine (female) got heavily into it and won various british titles. It involved a life of misery and as you say , steroids.
If someone wants to do that it's their choice not for me. Although without going this far you can get a good physique with just a good diet and exercise. An industrial amount of steroids aren't good but neither is eating all the sugary ultra processed foods pushed on us.
Have to admit that i got up to 17.5 without the aid of steroids. Even enjoyed my diet which, admittedly, was high in calories! Weekends were still of the boozing out category etc, and i was partial to a few nifters in the week too!
What I can't get my head around in this country is we had the massive push to get people to stop smoking. It was costing the nhs a fortune each year. But now obesity has over took and we don't seem as a country to be doing much about it. It's costing the NHS billions each year not to mention the ones too fat to work. Kids necking them monster drinks with ridiculous amounts of sugar work places having fuddles with loads of sugary *****. Maybe we should toughen up on fatty sugary foods. Least the bloke in question is eating right, don't agree with the steroid use.
A major problem is funding projects. And then withdrawing the funding due to cuts etc. I joined a local initiative during the last Labour Govt. Barnsley was found to have a higher than National average for heart- attacks and Heart- related illnesses for men 50 and over. So money was provided for the NHS to run schemes and sport related classes. Sadly, politics took over and it all stopped.
You can only blame politics so much. To join the gym or even eat healthy and go walking. Or just move more and eat less cost very little. You shouldn't need the goverment to tell you to exercise imo,I'd like to see them do more though to cut down on unhealthy meals processed ***** and sugary snacks and drinks. I see kids drinking those monster drinks, they have about 25 grams of sugar per can and that's not even a exaggeration how are those legal.
I find it mind blowing how many kids are on vapes and monster drinks! They'll no doubt suffer the consequences in later life methinks.
Definitely no wonder tooth decay in kids is at a high. And if there drinking that **** in school time good luck concentrating with all the sugar and E numbers.
