When KH was talking about the Butterfield situation he said a club with sense would make an offer and potentially avoid a war on wages and a tribunal.

I wonder if he's taken his own advice and made an offer for Michael Jacobs? He apparently said there is a player in league 2 who will be worth millions in a few years and he'd hoped to sign them.

I think its the winger from Bristol Rovers that he was refering to.

Yeah I did consider that he might have been referring to Mustapha Carayol, but I thought as he'd mentioned him by name it was unlikely to be him. He wouldn't want to draw attention to it.

I'd take either to be honest - that Carayol looks particularly exciting - something our fans would appreciate.

More likely to be a replacement for Vaz Te

hence the quote. I hope that he's not developing an obsession for midfield players, if his first 3 signings dont include a defender, I'll be worried.

O`Grady is being lined up for a move to Oakwell, That is according to a a well placed person at the club. If we can agree terms with Weds, but we are nowhere near to them as yet!

I've heard the same. Apparently tried getting him on loan this year.

Him AND Davies up top would do me.

Plus that's in a successful side in the league below. I'd not want him either.
