Well they said he wasn't in THIS building today, the east stand, didn't deny he might have been at oakwell. mmmm
Don't think it will be Chopra. He'd be a cracking signing on the pitch but is very controversial and football lovers won't want him at Oakwell if he's going to cause trouble off pitch. I reckon it will the new forward though, could be McClean or maybe another former player who fits the bill just like Nyatanga. Also reckon there will be news on a bar in the Ponty End.
Despite some being intent on derailing the optimistic feeling round the club, it's difficult to remember the last time there was so much positivity emanating from Oakwell. Potential new signings, fresh new attitude from the boardroom. Long may it continue.
Spot on, I'm always optimistic at the beginning of every season but this year even more so, it's a long time since I've felt so proud to be a barnsley fan
I'm an eternal optimist Especially during a close season. However, there's a definite feel good factor surrounding the club that's been missing for quite a few years.
Re: I'm an eternal optimist I think the difference is one of hope. Hope that's arisen following continued seasons of disappointment, not just an on the pitch struggle but the mood music from the club and seeing no progression or any aspect of learning from continual mistakes. That's clearly changed and seeing out of contract players all re-sign, players we'd think out of our range coming on board, and the people we've now got in the boardroom...it's just really exciting. Of course... history usually kicks Barnsley fans in the teeth when they dare to dream, but i'll gladly risk that this time around.
He doesn't put enough effort in. He's not fit enough. He's got the heart of a pea. He's doesn't run around enough.
could be buying a new sound system for legends suite so that all the questions could be heard and the answers didn't have to be given by norman collier lol
