Seems a bit odd considering we're in the championship

They will announce them on the 24th then wonder why nobody bought one for Christmas.

I imagine it's because of the flexi ticket. In my opinion, there should be as many different types of tickets to suit people's circumstances as possible.

They're called matchday tickets, you buy them as and when you need them.

Do they do those at discounted prices or just the expensive ones we fleece away (home) fans for?

I wonder how many flexi tickets we sold? Loads I assume, given the clamour for them. Probably thinking we've realistically hit all the ST holders out there for now

My Mrs was going to buy me one for Xmas. I guess a flexi ticket will have to do.

That's exactly how it should be. Different people have different finances and circumstances so there should be as many different ways to get to Oakwell cheaply as possible. People who can get to for example ten home games before the end of the season would have prefered a good half season pass offer instead of having to buy two five game flexi tickets.

No half season tickets, no replica shirts.

    I love this football club.

I can't believe (well, I can) that they're not doing a half season ticket when we're actually playing alright in the Championship. If they could sell one to me this time last year rock bottom in Leage One, then I'm positive they could shift a fair few to people this year. Surely it'll be a loss of money as people who were going to buy them as prezzies will now buy a flexi instead for cheaper? I'm not sure what benefit there is to not selling one.

Ha f***ing ha. I take it you'd say that to a season ticket holder as well then.

They don't need the money from replica shirts or half season passes now we've been promoted on top of the Stones/Mawson cash and the likelyhood of someone else being sold in a few weeks for another windfall. Guarantee if we were still stuck in league one and not bringing in good sums from players they would be making more of an effort for the Christmas market. Anyway you can spend 25 quid on one of those summery towels they have just got in stock.

I wanted to get someone a half-season ticket for Christmas.

Flexi-ticket doesn't cut it because it isn't a fixed seat.
