How many points we would have now if that other bloke was still in charge? I reckon about 29. We would have been dead and buried while he repeatedly tells us how difficult things are, how great he is and what a set of cvnts we are.

Whilst I don't share your vitriol towards him, I must admit to thinking that had he saved his arse by beating either Brum or Wednesday, we may have actually been in a worse position now with him still in charge or sacked much later. Funny how things work out.

I was talking about this very subject before the game the other night and we concluded on two points:
    1) We should have got rid sooner. The writing was on the wall after the spineless Forest performance yet he got several more games after that.
    2) We would have been dead and buried if we hadn't acted.

Considering the mess that Hill left us in Flicker will deserve the freedom of Barnsley if he keeps us up.

    I think Trotters misses Keith, I detect a homo-erotic under current. :)

Point is, if we'd sacked Hill sooner, or the board was slightly less incompetent, we wouldn't have Flicker in charge.

That is not definite. The same people or others may well have turned us down.

We wouldn't have gone on that run and would probably be 8/10 points adrift at the bottom.

Flicker did say they were about to implement 3-5-2 before Keith was sacked and that was the plan for Peterborough. I think the major difference is that Flicker has galvanised the team and chrome plated all the taps.

We'd have won v Peterborough with a Dagnall brace followed by him scoring twice every game since. 30 points - we'd be safe.

Not strictly true, he said that they had been training on it but were planning on bringing it in after the international break, IIRC

more like flicker sticking up for his old mate,we'd been more or less dead and buried for twelve month before hill was sacked,he should have been got shut of last summer.Hill talked a good job,and quite a few took it on board, the real big turning point was coventry away last season, shocking tactics against the bottom of the league,.We'd have been in league 1 now if it hadnt been for pompeys administration and the ten point deduction, says it all really.

    Give it a rest Conan.

We can "what if" all day and we'd all come up with different answers.

What's more important is the next game.
