I think the whole team will feel they could have done better with the goals conceded on Saturday. A failed clearance and should have closed down faster for 1st. A debatable pen ( soft imo). And a shot which davies didn't see through a load of bodys until it was too late. Too early to tell if the defence isn't upto it after that.
We were solid in the first half and still caused problems at the other end which surely shows signs of promise. Their first goal was fair enough and we reacted well but we obviously switched off for 5 minutes and they scored 2 more in a short space of time and that inevitably cost us the game. We managed to get a goal back within reasonable time but then when a team is a goal down going into the last 10 minutes, every side is obviously going to have a real good go to try and get an equaliser which all fans would advocate. This usually means one of two outcomes, an equaliser or the other team getting a goal because of how many men the losing team are throwing forward. If we would have not switched off for 5 minutes we obviously would not have conceded 4 goals so I'm not overly worried. It would have been nice if we had managed to take the lead at some stage, as I believe we would have won comfortably because of our counter attacking abilities.
