Listening to the lad on Radio Sheff, what a quiet, gentle, unassuming person he comes over as. I can only praise him to to hilt, for his self belief, grit and determination. If you haven't heard the interview then listen to it in full.... it might even bring a lump to your throat... just as it did mine ! Well done Iain, you are so brave and I wish you well and a very speedy recovery.
I know- came across really well on Big League Weekend tonight too What a great chap he is. Get well soon cocker
Just heard it on Radio dee dar, Iain seems in pretty good heart, all considering. I must admit it brought a tear to my eye. But the lad has so much determination, i can see him wearing the red shirt before the season ends, and he also has that goal. Well done Iain and come back soon.
just seen him on look north bloody hell the scarea a beauty hope people down the road at bramall lane have seen it and hang there heads in shame
RE: was on look north and i fecking missed it nt If you have freeview its on sky sports news every hour
RE: Top bloke. Hope he gets well soon. nt Here here and nice to know that there is no reason he cant resume is career.
Great interview on big league weekend. What a great bloke and let's just hope that justice is done! The scar looks very nasty but overall he seems in great spirits considering the circumstances. What a top top bloke and it is very good to see that he is on the road to recovery and setting himself a goal to be back in a Barnsley shirt before the season's finished.
Thanks for the link, amazingly he looks quite healthy considering what he's gone through. Hope he makes sure he takes time to get mentally as well as physically fit before trying to rush back.
Best of luck to him. We don't know whether Morgan meant to harm him or not unless he comes out and says so himself. Until he does so, we have to accept it was accidental. Looking at it though, he does want to 'elbow' Hume away from the ball. To say he is deliberately wanted to seriously injure Hume is debatable.
Interested what has NOT been said nor asked.... He is only talking about his own injury, rather than anything about Morgan, or his feelings about 'the challenge.' It all smacks of an on-going legal debate between lawyers representing Morgan and lawyers representing Hume. It would be helpful to everyone, not least he media, if the FA could let us know what they are doing. I just hope that it doesn't run and run on and that it can reach closure soon. Above all - best wishes to Iain Hume! He has a lot of support from me in his situation and it looks as though the Sky team are also on his case. No mention on ITV/BBC - but I suppose that Sky are sitting on the footage for themselves. Best wishes for a speedy and full recovery, Iain.
Totally Agree! During the entire interview I had the feeling that it was previously agreed that nothing would be said about that tw@t Morgan, the Blunts, the FA or whatever. Anything that was said about that could have been prejudicial in the event of a court case. If this is true, it is great news. There was also a link to another interview on BBC which was just the same. Sheffield United and Morgan should be made to pay a very heavy price for what happened that day.
