He wasn`t that good before the assault, it was while he was out of action that he somehow became a superstar!!
he was starting to get better the few weeks leading up to the attempted murder but nowhere near as good as what people made out, but still i've always thought there where something there we just dint see it often enough
It was not attempted murder at all and its time people like you got over it. Hume was a very poor buy and he never looked like he was up to it. he has never scored more than 17 goals in a season and that was in the league below us. He hasd been poor since leaving us and the only reason anyone thinks he was any good, is because he got injured against the Blunts.
Judging by the state of him the last time I saw him in a reds shirt against Forest I wouldn't have him back if he was the last striker on earth, the Forest game he was about 2 stone overweight, looked 2 yard off the pace and couldn't have looked more disinterested if he had laid on a lilo in the centre circle and gone to sleep. Like someone as posted for what we paid for him at the time £1.2m was it? They where better options around at the time.
i'm pretty sure a elbow to the head is seen as attempted murder in a court of law same as a kick to the head or a stamp, and don't tell me he never ment to elbow him
Of course you are correct as always. I do hope you and Hemsworth enjoy your fan club meetings in the phone box!!!
He then went and moaned to Robins that he wasn't an automatic starter every week. And then saw fit to describe himslef as "Ian Hume, un-used substitute" on Cross Bar Challenge. Felt for the guy, but his attitude stunk.
