    At the time it was the going rate for a player who had scored double figures for the previous 5 seasons.We'll never know what his contribution would have been after the attack which almost cost him his life.

    Totally agree, back then 1.2m was what it took to buy a proven scorer at this level.

    I remember being amazed thinkin wow, what a statement of intent that signing was. He looked pretty damn awesome in those early games, Donny at home and his corners were lethal
