    Ian Bell in my opinion should not have been playing this test match! He keeps getting chance after chance and hardly ever seems to go on and get the big score. Feel sorry for Owais Shah who scored a century in one of the warm up games and doesnt get a chance yet again.

    Hardly ever? 8 centuries and 19 fiftys. Average over 82 test innings is 41. He is showing his worst form for England at the moment but he is a good batsman.

    Ok his stats overall are better than iv given him credit for but i think its one 50 in his last 10innings, (my be wrong on that as well!). It is similar with Paul Collingwood, another one of these players who doesnt get dropped when his form is poor. As in my post above, cant see what is wrong with giving Owais Shah a go in this series, especially with the ashes coming up this summer.
