Dont think he would have been picked Selectors told him they would understand if he retired. And also they havent shown any inclination to make rapid changes
Thay'll stick with Bell, as they will Jones. I'd replace Bell with Robert Key however. Jones, I'd try and increase his confidence.
key what are you thinking!! Had more chances than most and failed often. I think in this team you need to be quick in the field you need to have all round talent so if you cant bowl you need to be able to field and unfortunately the debate about his batting ability may go on but he cant field or bowl so will not get near the current england team. A better bet would be Paul Collingwood i think.
