    Anyone go to the Ian Brown at Sheffield octagon last night? Brilliant - even heard a chant of Barnsley, Barnsley, Barnsley!

    I like his stuff generally is his latest offering as good?

    Its a good album - specially Sister Rose and Illegal Attacks which features sinead o'connor!

    fave tune last night had to be i am the Resurrection tho - quality

    Stone Roses are my favourite band but I think he has been a bit hit and miss as a solo artist.

    yeah i agree, don't like all his solo stuff but i've got into his new album. Would love to see Stone Roses live but dont think i ever will so have to be content with seein Brown!

    new cd

    bit down tempo for me ... dont get me wrong he's got stuff to say and its a proper good cd but following solarized was always gonna be hard... bring it on in southampton 2 weeks time...

    didn't see that - think i was in my own little world by the end.

    Who were the support band? - i thought it was mean to be Paul Ryders Band, Big Arm - but i got there bout quarter past eight n didn't see them.

    Didn't see him the other night, but a few of my friends did. I met up with them after in the Plug & guess who turned up later on? only the man himself! got to have a brief chat & a few photo's!
