not sure of your point...but we won't pay his kinda wages...not cheap enough.. and thats us...cheap and cheerful...........and *****
I did not say we should go for Dowie at all... but I did say we will ultimately take the cheapest option available.
RE: Yeah Going For Dowie Would Show Too Much Ambition And Go Against Our "Cheap Option" Policy. 500k a year min. Thats 10 grand a week. Basic. Lets go back into administration
I Heard Hull...... offered him a 3 year contract of 400,000 a year. I think Cryne can afford that without going back into administration. Ritchie is the only cheap option that has ever worked for us. Why do year upon year we make do with "not having lots of cash" and not just go and find some guys with cash to join the board ? I don't believe our board tout potential investors enough.
RE: errm relegation will safely take us back down the Admin road, don't doubt that mate No it wouldnt.
so are you happy to take that option then...relegation ..lesser crowds..***** football....hmmmm a real crowd puller that
RE: so are you happy to take that option then...relegation ..lesser crowds..***** football....hmmmm Dont try and put words into my mouth. Doesnt work with me. We have a good chance of staying up but if we go down the club wont fold.
RE: perhaps not, but it will so set us on the road again Why would it? The budget will have been done accordingly to cover all eventuallities. Signing a gaffer on £4,000 and players to match that will send us into minus 10 points.
