Second top goal scorer in our league last season with 22 goals. It would be a big signing for sure. Is he out of contract? Reading online he signed a 2 year deal with Rochdale in 2013, but the tweet above sounds like we've made a bid.
Not another Rochdale kn0bhead. He'll have to win me over. Woo me with loads of goals, because Rochdale are 50 per cent of the reason we can't beat an egg. Look elsewhere! There are 90 - 90! - other clubs we could buy from.
Dale alarm with be going off soon and they'll be on... Keef will be busy telling him what a bunch of w*nkers we all are.
Hill stated in a recent interview that Henderson wouldn't leave this summer although he was resigned to losing him on a free next June. Whether or not there is any substance in this statement it remains to be seen as money talks. Personally, I would love us to bring him in as hes a quality player at this level and I dare say the next one up. Like him or not Hill has a great track record of 'developing' footballers into a role / team function and by the looks of things hes enhanced Hendersons career since hes had him as Spotland.
Not directly but he's still a Hill/Flicker man. Most of there signings would have bee great in League One. As would Henderson. Very good player and proving himself as a goalscorer.
How many of them were penalties? Id have loved to have seen him and Hourihane fighting over them last season, at least one would have been a lot less overhyped then. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Fair enough. I'll re-phrase it: Not another kn0bhead from Rochdale, or with Rochdale connections at some point in the past. From Steve Parkin and Gary Jones to the present, only O'Grady and Flitcroft for a glorous Indian summer were worth investing time and money into. Parkin, Jones, Hill, Wiseman, Done and McNulty were/are $hit.
looking on wikipedia, this henderson looks a right donkey...but i must admit, never heard of him. hth i don't relish henderson tbh.....sounds too dee dar for my liking
Yeah, my agenda's a real nefarious one: wanting a successful Barnsley team and suspecting it's more likely to happen when we don't clog the squad up with Spotland's junk. I don't want him, but I'll reluctantly support him if he signs. Hoping for the best, but certainly fearing the worst.
