Mate of mine is a big Leicester fan, for what it's worth he's what he had to say.....

"Best player in an attacking role for us last year, but then everyone else was garbage. Gives a lot of effort and never stops running. Can be a headless chicken at times and not the best finisher in the world. Can't see him scoring more than 10-15 goals a season but sad to see him go as he was the only one who appeared to give a sh*t last season. Think you probably paid a bit too much for him tho......."

They still think we are a crap team and relegation fodder though.

    £500k up front?

Why Barnsley? Because of the clubs interested he felt we presented the best chance of a regular place up front.
Given (excepting Howard, who is a midfielder) our most prolific striker notched 6 this season, that looks a good bet.

How much? &pound;500k up front, with 3 conditional further installments of &pound;250k.
The manager said he expects we will pay &quot;about a million&quot;, so it sounds like 2 of the 3 have conditions which are likely to be met.

    That's all I know. </div></td></tr></tbody></table>

who do you think you could get

i would say it would be pretty much impossible to get a proven championship goalscorer for £1.2m

Yep he looks an exciting prospect but Hume has held his own in this league, something Maynard has not done.I think Maynard would have been slightly out of budget, yet more of a risk.

Hume is a very good player and will score us goals.
