    TV football analyst? Sorry, NO!

    He always talks tripe (then again most do) but last night he exceeded even himself by advocating and indeed encouraging England players to dive around at the World Cup 'because everyone else will do it so so should we'. Surely he's got to be chucked by the Beeb after that.

    I did like it when he said...

    that Owen Hargreaves must know something about Sven's private life to be continually selected for international football. Superb.

    He's a muppet though.

    Couldn't you argue though that someone of his standing in football and on the BBC is bringing the game into disrepute with comments like that?

    Ian Wright is funny

    Always says something amusing. Cant stand Ally Mcoist, Mark Lawrencen or Alan Hansen. Best pundit is Andy Townsend.

    Yes he is

    I think he's a great character and in terms of saying what you really think, I'm very similar!

    But he shouldn't be doing that job after comments like that IMHO.

    did you hear him last night when asked "So Mark which of England World Cup songs is your favourite?" to which he replied "I'm not fussed on any" or something along those lines,IF YOU AIN'T BOTHERED BUGGER OFF

    Met him at Preston a few years back just before we set Steve Parkin on,he is as bigger tw@t in real life as he is on telly

    Hansen is best and he's bleedin Scottish!!!

    Top bloke, top player and top pundit.

    Cuts it fine with his comments sometimes, but at least he's honest.

    And yes, if Gerrard is in the same situation in the World Cup, he should dive. Every other team will plan to, and it's about time we won the thing, rather than complaining about Maradona's hand ball etc...
