    At this moment in time, as I type, my 2 'kids' are each inside a famous stadium, each for different reasons.

    Anfield - I have been a few times - #1 Son is working there today.
    MCG - on my bucket list - #1 Daughter is there watching Taylor Swift.

    Just thought I'd share that. Anyone else at an iconic venue today, for whatever reason?

    She literally flew from Sydney to Melbourne today, hoping for a night out with a friend followed by the concert tomorrow. Checked her tickets on the plane and they were for tonight (NOW!) and due to flight delays only got to MCG just in time for the support act.

    Takes after her mother.

    me and some mates went to Germany on his last big tour and saw them in Hannover ........ shortly after I think he was warned he'd lose his hearing totally so he 'retired' and Axl Rose did a few gigs.

    42 years since I first saw them at Queens Hall in Leeds, gert big bell and canon on the stage. For those about to rock tour. Forty. Two. Years. Gulp.

    It's been a frustrating holiday so far on the iconic stadia front. We flew over both Benfica and Sporting Lisbon's grounds flying out of Lisbon. Drove past Bahia's stadium in Salvador but there were no matches while we were there. Went past Boca Junior's ground twice in Buenos Aires but it was still pre season. Hoping to finally get to a game tomorrow night when Deportivo Pereira play Fortaleza.
    Fingers firmly crossed.
    Edit. It's against Santa Fe and we've just bought the tickets. Excited! Go Matecana!
