I'd have taken 3 points from those two games.

Travesty we didn't win that game yesterday, we played well, completely restricted 'em and got sucker punched.

A few times I've come on here and said how close we are but we score that penalty and it's game over. Tudgay's pass to Dagnall isn't as far in front and he scores. Our problem is scoring, nothing else.

We can still do it and I still honestly believe we will. Perkins fit week in week out will see us right.

    You reds.

Prob is though yes three points from 2 games no more than ok, but when you get the 3 points from the tougher game you need to capitilise and take 4-6

He scores? You sure about that?

The win at Millwall was great but that's 1 win from the last 13 matches now. Scoring goals wins you matches and we aren't scoring and it's now costing us...I think we have a good team on paper but the ball isn't going in the back of the net enough

The pass was perfect. A striker would have slid in and buried it.

Scoring goals is a problem. Without a doubt. But it's not our only problem, it's just one of many. We would have had to score three goals to win the game yesterday and even the best sides can't do that every week. We can't score goals, we're not too clever at defending, we move the ball too slowly, there's no width in the team and little if any creativity in midfield. Apart from that we're fine.

Not seen it back, seemed to be a bit far in front from where I was but could be wrong.

A striker also buries that penalty so we had enough opportunities.

Width a key problem, granted. And maybe with more we'd score more. I was saying all second half to bring Done on for Greening but when he did come on we still played with O'Brien behind Davies and Tudgay.

Missing Mellis too. We try and thread passes through and he's the only one who can.

Fair. But my main issue yesterday was how poorly organised we were at set pieces - i think it's less an issue with individuals and more about collective organisation - people don't seem to know their job. And for that i can only look at Flitcroft.

I'm nervous every time they get a set piece. Foster a massive miss yesterday but I was hoping to see Edwards. We've tried every other centre half and his height might just help a little. But yesterday Hassell and Greening lose their man. The two most experienced men on the pitch so not sure how Hillflicker sort that.

McNultys been a massive disappointment this season too.

Agreed. And some of that comes down to the system we're playing, some of it comes down to players.

It's the organisation though. No one on the posts from corners, against a side you know are only really a threat at set pieces. Your near post man not moving forward and staying in front of the front post runner to cut out the underhit ones. Crap. You and me could sort it out in a couple of hours.

So it seems that everybody can see our problems, everybody except the one man that counts and he either can't see them or is too stubborn to change our formation and tactics. Either way we are deep in the **** and sinking fast.

Like I said, Dagnall or Davies score we get 3 points and no one complains about tactics. That's how close we are.

Mate , we would have been happier, but I dont think for one minute that no-one would have complained about the tactics, because they are just not working. The defending of set plays is shocking, go down to training and watch it there , same as on the pitch on Saturday!

scoring isnt our only problem,we cant defend, especially from set pieces.Birmingham scored in what was practically their first attack yesterday.

we may have had the majority of possesion again, but birmingham like wednesday knew that we are poor at creating chances to score and that chances are they'd nick a goal with a sucker punch, which is exactly what they did.
we lack creativity and are more predictable than any other team i can remember at this level,if hill stays and we do stop up i'm going to get him to pick my lottery numbers because it'll be more luck than judgement.

SorryDyson but your blind faith is admirable but those arguments just don't stack up, the I would have settled for ...is one of the most nonsensical because having bagged 3 'bonus' points at Millwall we have then just chucked away the 3 points that (I presume) you expected. Scoring goals is not our only problem, here have a free header is our other major one.And it was also a scratch Birmingham side
