Am I alone in thinking since he came back from injury, his game has resorted to exactly the style of play he had before Mourihno got hold of him. I sometimes think I'm watching a different player to everyone else. Mourihno really got him to consider passing to team mates in better positions which improved his game hugely. I think he's gone backwards again.

He undoubtebly has great talent and can commit defenders, but recently it largely leads to nothing or him laying it 20 yards backwards after a number of pointless turns.

Don't get me wrong, I like him and think he has contributed greatly in the past, but all this crap of him being the best player on the pitch recently, just annoys me. He needs to stop being greedy again.

Tbh mate I haven't taken much notice, but I will from now on. I dont understand the rave reviews of late though, just liek yourself. He has done nothing out of the ordinary. Under José he always looked capable of scoring too. Now though he doesn't look a threat in that department to me.

    It could be because..

he has a fecking stupid voice

That said like you argued, when he passes he certainly isn't ****. Certainly better than whats his name at Boro...the winger that can't beat a man or cross or shoot, or do very much at all.

Edit...I meant Downing, it just came to me

Rest assured he'll score a blinder or two tonight then.

I still feel more anticipation that something might happen when Rooney gets the ball and given Rooneys recent England performances I think that says a lot. I am much more surprised when Cole does something other then hold up play for a bit.

Is that how you laugh? I thought your laugh would be more confident. That looked forced to me.

    Not alone

    Agree with you.
I honestly think HE thinks he is the best player in the team, hence he goes off on these silly turns when a simple pass would do. He was at his best when Jose gave him something to prove. He IS better than Downing etc, but that shot at the end of the Estonia game ... my daughter would've put that in.... hit it with totally the wrong part of his foot. Good player, could be brilliant if he remembered the rest of the team.

Sorry I'm not good with girls are you asking me out?

That's the thing for me, I think the more people tell him he's great at the minute, the less impact he'll have on the team and he'll drift further away from his best form.

    Damn

Sorry, I tried my hardest but I'm no great actor. You can have your £5 back if you want. Can I keep the photo though.

seriously keep the £5 and get a haircut, that's the only way you're ever going to pull that laugh off in a meeting.

    £5 for a haircut!

Its at least £15 in that there London Town and thats not even for a celebrity endorsed salon with a top stylist (like Trevor Sorbet).

I'm never going to make senior analyst at this rate.

Maybe I could try out for junior analayst first.

I pay £150 an hour to get my haircut by a prostitute, to be honest I think the hair cut is actually free. So who's the fool now eh?

An hour is a suspiciously long time for a haircut. What else are you two up to?

I think he's a great player and he solved the problem left side of midfield position we had for so long.

I know what you mean by the way he sometimes tries things that don't work but that's what its all about for me.. I was at Wembley on Saturday with my 7 year old and every time Joe Cole got the ball everyone was on their feet including my son.... a lot of what he does (step overs, drag backs, Cruyff turns etc) is what they teach at grass roots footy and I think thats what the youngsters just starting like to see cos they can associate with it, its something they want to learn...

For me thats what footballs all about... Entertainment.... and he's a player I'd always pay to watch
