.............be fab to stay in the same cell, probably couldn't sleep there tho cos he'd try to kill you while you were a sleep, but it would be great to be in there with him and then sleep in a seperate cell at night </p>

I have this cousin............

....................he's a psyciatric nurse who worked at Rampton Prison.
One of his jobs was to sit in a cell with murderers and the like to 'assess them' - just him and the prisoner
Any problem prisoners the Rampton management used to throw them into a cell with my cousin and lock the door
Some well know names from this area have been in the cell with him.

Really interesting stuff.............not like the Bronson guy who got 7 years for stealing and then started doing mind games with the prison officers.
These cases are out and out killers

Any way my cousin got the sack from Rampton because the management said he was "softening the prisoners up by excessive means"
Some might remember it because it made the local TV news and newspapers.
My cousin isn't as tall as me, he's about 6'3"...........but he's much heavier than me at 21 stone with a much smaller waist measurement than I've got

I read a book about Bronson and it was very interesting, looking forward to see what the film is like.

 

My ex met him

Hes not all he is cracked up to be, apparently. Tapped in the head, obviously, but not more so than most of the others in Rampton or other places like that.

 

He's just rebelled against the prison system.

One thing I found funny in the book was that he held someone captive in his cell and made them tickle his feet as he'd not experienced it for years.

 

My brother has a picture that he drew for him in his bathroom at home

About the pub he used to own.</p>

He's a very different man these days. He could have been at this stage a long time ago if the system hadn't cocked it all up.
