I love the times when opposition fans come on with witty comments... ...unfortunately this is not one of them.

RE: just remember can't see you lot surviving. It's not just losing its the manner of it and you are getting hammered We've lost 2 away games but not been hammered. The home games, Liverpool stole a point (never a pen) and we missed 2 pens and a hatful of chances on Sat. I believe we will go down but the club will be in a better position to go for it season after next. As for the Barnsley games don't care really. Bigger fish to fry.
Let's play Dem Blades at home in 1999 when 'Inchy' heath was in charge And you brought 200 fans. Wednesday always sell out.
RE: Let's play Dem Blades at home in 1999 when 'Inchy' heath was in charge have to disagree we brough 165, I counted 'em. Wednesday the Man United of South Yorkshire, 8,000 against wrexham Pancakes gates were a bit false last season. Their first two home games were agin Leeds ,32,500 and Hull 29,000. Both brought huge followings. This season only 23,000 v Leeds, oh dear ! A lot of Pancakes fans are out of towners eg Wombwell, Hoyland, Birdwell, Elsecar, Barnsley. When the going gets tough they'll get going.
RE: Let's play Dem Blades at home in 1999 when 'Inchy' heath was in charge my united fan mates went to that. After the match I went for a pint with them and they were planning their trips for the following season to the grounds in the division below. Couple of matches later, in comes Colin, 6 years of patience, steady improvement, financial stability and look where they are.
There's a lesson in there somewhere, I think.

RE: Let's play Dem Blades at home in 1999 when 'Inchy' heath was in charge Thanks for that, but you still bring fewer fans than Washday whatever the situation.

RE: Tut tut a bloke from Barnsley supporting blunts correction. Originally from Leeds then Sheffield now living in Barnsley.
RE: Let's play Dem Blades at home in 1999 when 'Inchy' heath was in charge Err, you started a thread about size of crowds.
Don't cry, you may have the biggest fanbase in Sgeffield one day. When Dave Allen finally closes Washday down. Til then, you're in their shadow.
