Ok we know the team struggle to score but how about playing 1 up front and packing the midfield? We CAN defend so why not play to our strengths pack the midfield. Draw every game and we should be safe! 52pts should be enough. Yes It might bore us to death but I'd rather be bored daft for six games than be in League 1 for a year. Dean
make it £10 to get in and £5 for kids....fill the ground and get behind the team....surely we made enough with the cup run to cover this??? improvements to west stand won,t be needed if we go down cos we,ll only get 6,000 next season if we do.
I like the idea of reducing the prices to try and fill the ground so the team can have as much support as possible but can you honestly see the club doing this?
they've done it in the past thinking about earlier this season, although reductions were not quite so great there was barely any increase in attendance
With the prevailing mood amongst the majority of Barnsley folk, I doubt even a free pass would tempt many more along.</p>
end of last season prices were reduced, it was advertised and we sold out This season prices were reduced by a smaller amount with little or no advertising from the club and there was barely an increase. I've said it before and i'll say it again, if you normally shop at Morrisons but this week Tesco were charging less than half the price would you go and buy from there? Maybe you would maybe you wouldnt, but if Tesco was chargins less than half price but didn't tell you then you DEFINETLY wouldnt. No use running a promotion if potential customers aren't told about it
Ahh, dirt-cheap season tickets. That's summat else, entirely! I'd buy one and I can get to maybe two/three home matches a season. Bradford had over 13k last night.
time the board listened to the fans and took notice of the likes of bradford even if it was only for 1 or 2 seasons get hooked there hooked for life
not only that but how long are they going to leave it before giving us ANY idea as to ticket prices? Other clubs have already sold over 20,000 season tickets for next season, barnsley havent even mentioned them...
Its exactly the same for west brom, bristol and stoke But all three have season tickets on sale now. Regardless of what division they end up in you can buy a season ticket at WBA and Bristol for cheaper than you could last/this season too and all three offer a 0% interest installment scheme. Take note barnsley, the football world knows that peoples financial situation means they need financial incentives to buy
