We're parking at Stanmore and getting the Tube.

Takes just over 1 hour on the tube, but I figure you would waste more then 1 hour getting to East London and finding somewhere to park.

Just been looking at 2 possible parking solutions for tomorrow.

Park at Stanmore (£1-00) (450 Spaces) and go on the tube as follows:

This would be the more favourable if going down the M1

Jubilee Line: Stanmore to Bond Street
Central Line: Bond Street to Mile End
District Line: Mile End to Upton Park

    Approx Journey time: 1hour 8mins

    OR:

Park at Epping (£1-00) (519 Spaces) and go on the tube as follows:

This would be more favourable if going down the A1/A14/M11 or A1

Central Line: Epping to Mile End
District Line: Mile End to Upton Park

    Approx Journey Time: 47 minutes.

1 draw back for the Epping one is the Central Line passes through Leyton and guess who Leyton Orient play tomorrow ?

We parked at Stanmore for Wembley and it was really quick and easy. I know West Ham isn't near Wembley lol but just Stanmore is easy to get away from. We're going on coach though.

Have been debating Stanmore myself, but thought 1 hr on the tube was a bit much, but having read the football grounds away guide thingy, it says it can take well over an hour from just to get down Barking Road (road which runs past the ground) on a match day.

So, i'm still not sure what to do!

I'd rather sit on the tube for 1 hour, at least you can relax. Sitting in traffic for 1 hour is not my idea of relaxing. 1 hour to get down Barking Road and then the rest of the time to get from the M1 round the M25 to the East end.

    I'm parking at Stanmore.

Same as us, Stanmore then the tube to see another glorious chapter being written, finally a quick jaunt up the m1 to the west end club for a swift one

No idea on that. A London Tyke will probably be better to help you on that

Only been there twice myself. 2 years ago and to Wembley last season

Upminster is by far your best bet one stop to barking on the overground and 2 stops from barking on district line £2 in car park at Upminster i do this for every home game.
