If we'd all got up early and gone to queue at Oakwell on Monday morning we'd have all got tickets. I think some morons actually believe that.
It's taking some getting through isn't it?
I advise getting on to the supporters trust committee.

RE: 6,000 season ticket holders at Oakwell 6am Monday morning. Yes of course, if all 6,000 had turned up at 6am it wouldn't have made any difference. But we all know that's not going to happen as there are varying levels of committment and savvy even among ST holders. However I would have expected most of the people on here (who demonstrate that extra committment by coming on here and talking about the club every day) to have their fingers more on the pulse and react accordingly. I started watching The Reds in 1974 and have never missed getting a ticket for a big game, despite working for the last 22 years. It only requires a little bit of imagination to be able to make this happen once in a blue moon (arrange a late start, move shifts, book a days holiday, throw a sickie, invent a doctor's appointment - whatever it takes). Whether they should have had to go to these lengths for this particular ticket sale is a different matter. Of course it should have been 1 per ST - but it wasn't and we knew we needed to work around that.
RE: 6,000 season ticket holders at Oakwell 6am Monday morning. I AGREE, 1 OF US GOT THERE AT 6.30AM, OTHER 1 TOOK OVER AT 8.15AM, NO BIG DEAL WANTED TO GO SO GOT THERE EARLY AND QUEUED. WE KNEW IT WOULD BE A FIASCO. THATS WHY WE WENT WHEN WE DID. JUST GLAD MY 10 YEAR OLD NOT DISAPPOINTED AFTER WATCHING THE REDS SINCE HE WAS 3YEARS OLD NOT TO GET THE CHANCE TO GO TO A GAME OF A LIFETIME
RE: 6,000 season ticket holders at Oakwell 6am Monday morning. If he is 10 now and this is his game of a lifetime we may as well give up now.
Whats the next 50 years of support gonna hold for him?

RE: Heh heh, the penny's still stuck in the chute. nt There are 3-400 people who post on here, who I would have expected to have the committment/savvy/knowledge to have got themselves near the front of the queue. If anyone's penny didn't drop, it is those who didn't do what was required to get a ticket. Take the time to read my other post more carefully, that might be the root cause of your problem. Heh chuffing heh!
For God's sake you thicko There were 6,000 tickets at9am, and they'd all gone by the end of the day, so if you went at the end of the day what do you expect ?
If everyone had gone earlier they'd have got a ticket.
