If a new manager was to come in...

    imagine all the deadwood he would have to clear out, all accumilated by Davey over the past two seasons and the most of it foreign.

    That has always been my main concern about Davey. Signing all these foreigners is going to leave us in serious financial trouble. They're all on decent contracts with a long time remaining.

    1. They aren't good enough at this level
    2. They don't give a s**t
    3. We're stuck with them cos nobody else in the English game is going to want them

    Whoever ends up as our new manager, he is certainly going to have his work cut out. To even want the job they would have to be desperate to get back into the game. Someone like John Sheridan wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

    ...is also completely unproven at this level. Just not a gamble we can afford to take. Get Billy Davies in ASAP.
