Stay calm, don't panic, wait to see what happens against Watford on 17/09/2011, we can't expect to get anything out of our next 3 games after tomorrow, it'll be hard keeping cool when we're bottom of the league, but that's what we have to do, if by mid October we're still in the bottom 3 and don't look like picking up points, then feel free to start slagging the board and manager, but until then try to back the team the best we can, at the end of the day we all know its going to be hard with the ***** that Hill as signed, but what can we do its all we could afford, we had to take a chance on cheaper players, that the end of that nothing we could do about that, if it turns out in mid October, that the new players, are out of there depth, and don't look like cutting the mustard, what can we do whinging and wining's not going to make any difference, we have to get behind the team and support them even if it is ****.
He can say what he want's but i don't believe him, he's not thick he knows it's going to be hard with the budget he's had to work with, and he can say he believes in them all he wants but after Saturday he as to be a total idiot not to be panicing inside
Can I just ask why we can`t expect anything from the next 3 games? Boro were supposedly going to finish near the bottom according to the know alls on here, so we must have a chance against them. Also if we are not supposed to expect anything from matches, then why bother? I expect a Barnsley FC team to give anyone a match, try their best and have a real good go at winning, if at the end of 90 mins we are beaten, then at least I can see the team have tried and were beaten by a better side. I do not expect to see a bunch of wasters like we saw on Tuesday and Saturday. I was promised good passing football, goals and entertainment. Well the last 2 games have been no better/ worse than any under Robins. I do not give a flying frig about how much the players cost or who they used to play for, just how they play in a RED shirt.

Did you expect to beat Liverpool or Chelsea, or going back Man City, Swansea, Brighton, (all in the top 6 of top division at the time), if we go into matches expecting to lose thenj that is what will happen. That is what got Davey into trouble and it seems that is what Hill is feeling.

You have to be realistic though, if the team give 100% every game there are still teams they have no chance of beating because there not good enough to we have to look at the teams that are of the same sort of standard as us before you can judge where we will end up
Re: Can I just ask why we can`t expect anything from the next 3 games? Being realistic is NOT expecting to lose, it is expecting the team to TRY THEIR BEST. Which is all I ask,if you expect to lose then there is no way you will be trying your hardest.
Its on Barnsley Player mate...my own personal opinion on Hill is.... I like the man...I really hope he can turn it around...but as he walked off at half-time on Saturday..I thought then, that his work starts now....and nowts changed mi mind...
