I would hope neither. Literally makes no difference to me whether he lines up against us or not. I imagine he'd get a hell of a lot of abuse though.
Cant see it making a lot of difference - I dont think many people will boycott a game because one of the OPPOSITION players is someone they dont want to be seen supporting. - Might make a difference to Oldhams home gates though at least I hope it does
Hypothetically, if it did would there be grounds to get compensation from Oldham? (or ched's idiot girlfriend's idiot father, if stories are to be believed)
Reckon it will bump our home support. He'd get enough stick for being a dee dar nevermind being a convicted rapist on top. Roll on our two games with them
Tbh i don't think it will make much difference to the attendance but the atmosphere will be up. Also think clubs will have to up security for their games with Oldham and personally I hope its through the roof and clubs put pressure on Oldham. What's your view?
At first I thought it may affect the attendance, nowt major like, with some not going then I got to thinking some more may go to show their displeasure at the individual. So not sure really Marl its hard to predict. I just think the situation may hit clubs in the pocket at a time when its least needed.
I suppose we could have a bit of fun with the match report. '...to put Barnsley ahead. Moments later Hourihane could have doubled the lead but his shot cleared the bar. A strong challenge midway through the second half saw the Oldham centre forward requiring treatment, but after attention from the physio- therapist Ched Evans was fit to continue...'
He was later sent off for an illegal incident but was protesting his innocence saying the defender gave him permission
