We seem to have cover all over the field except for the anchor midfield role
Hassell did well against Wendy but again we missed De Silva

    Personally rate Liam Miller but

The times i have seen him he seems to be more of a Howard sort of player who likes to push on. Good shot on him though.
Really we need someone who will sit back and organise. Thought Kavanagh did that well yesterday for Fowls. One of few players able to get his foot on the ball.
Besides i'll be shocked if we can afford Millers wages anyhow sadly.

The only player on the whole pitch yesterday who tried to get his foot on the ball was Nyatanga. Nobody else did, on either side.

The balance of the squad is very poor

Loads of strikers in reserve, but not much else.

Davey has been plugging the leaks for some time. Without the willingness of Hassell & Foster, I don't think we would have had enough players to put a full team out.

This situation that Davey has got himself into reminds me of Andy Ritchie - when he was roundly criticised for "running down the squad".
