Then Hassell has to play in front of the back four. The last two (one and a half even) home games have seen us concede 8 goals and generally get swept away through the middle of the park. I couldn't understand why Doyle went on loan to Preston but I'm guessing there has been some kind of fall out. If he had been available to come on against Ipswich I'm certain we wouldn't have lost that game. It's a shame that we have fell apart recently because generally I'm well pleased with Hillcroft and the way they are getting us to play football on the deck. We desperately need at least one win from the next two games though to lift things and avoid getting dragged into yet another relegation battle. I think Haynes has looked sharp when coming on and could be ready for a start on Saturday. I also can't believe the stick Butterfield is getting. The lad is definitely a talent but like most players has his weaknesses. If you'd taken him out of yesterday's side how bad would we have looked then? On Saturday I'd pick this team:- Steele Wiseman, Foster, Edwards, McNulty Hassell O Brien, Butterfield, Perkins, Haynes Davies Subs Preece, McEveley, Vaz Te, Gray, Done
I agree with that. Perkins has been exposed twice now, and I also think that Jay Mc doesn't look fit. For their first goal he showed the full back a lovely path inside to strike. I'd sooner have mcnulty at left back. I don't think Done has done a lot wrong, but when he is in the team we just don't seem to have any width.
