They pick a part time coach just for the euros who would you pick? Would you go for someone like hoddle or venables who have international tournament experience or would you pick someone who is good at club level or unproven?
I would love to see Hoddle given another chance. He was getting something going and wasn't sacked for his performance. It would probably be Pearce though.
Got to stick with Cappello, we dont have anyone good enough to take over, if the players cant get themselves up for it when they wear the 3 lions then its new players we want. As soon as we come across a half decent team we are shown up for what we are, a team of over rated over paid poncing prima donnas.
Crapello should go, as should the likes of Barry, Milner, Ferdinand, Terry and Lampard etc. Failure should never be rewarded. Spain didnt keep ploughing on with Vicente and Raul etc, they found a TEAM of players. Id like to see either Redknapp or Wenger get it. Or, possibly David Beckham just because he'd at least speak a word of inteligible english. . . . . . . oh, hang on, maybe not!
Christ Jake calm down, have u over done it on the pedigree chum? I just think that they don't want to play for him and I still don't think he gets what playing for England should represent and what we as fans expect! Id go for hoddle or try and bring a new manager through under the guidance of maybe venables?
and most of us said the same after the world cup farce and virtually nothing changed, same old never have beens in the team refusing to break sweat cos their egos wont let them. I'd like to see Harry given a go but I do worry he'd maintain the old guards' status quo, maybe Hoddle would shake stuff up.
Re: Or Ian Holloway Holloway would be a right laugh! I remember hearing about him doing a team talk using eleven teddy bears to demonstrate the formation. Wonder what Terry would reckon to that apart from trying to shag them lol
Re: Or Ian Holloway .How about a partnership of George Graham and Terry Venables, Tactical nouse from the pair of em, would be tight at the back and have a bit of flair going forward
