is he going to get the usual welcome to Oakwell then? Y'know calling him a lower league crappy player etc. and slating the clubs ambition. or are we actually going to let the lad get a few games in before all that starts. Just wondering like.

It doesn't matter ether way, if it's people who support the club, by putting their hard earned cash into the club then that's up to them, if they want to voice their opinion in a negative way, my opinion on our striker options next year is I would like a tried and tested striker or two such as O'Grady or someone as experienced, then a couple like this lad and Rose with a lot to prove, big bags of potential, and raw talent. Trying to get four strikers together without blowing all the budget so we can bring in a loanee if needs to as cover or to improve our options
well Joy of Joys next season I will be able to attend, been severly strapped down due to my working patterns... but am now able to reduce my working week... pensions kicking in etc... so now will be able to attend a great deal.... and I cannot bloody wait. When is the fixture list out ...so I can plan my visits??
It will be a case of normal service resuming on the BBS, some will welcome him, some will herald him as the next Ian Rush and some will start the usual 'sack the board for sanctioning the transfer of non league tripe' posts. Most will judge him on his performances in a Barnsley shirt.
