... the board should offer him a one year contract now. We all know what he’s capable of in league 1, we all know his passion and dedication to the club - his willingness to help out in the community is evidence of that. And his strong affinity with the fans. Let the new manager build a team around him.

Of course if he wants to go to Australia or somewhere else with his family that’s his prerogative, and he would go with our blessing I’m sure.

But ffs don’t let him go because he feels unwanted or surplus to requirements.
