... then I can understand why. There are a lot of people on here who jump on the 'Hassell is a legend' bandwagon but he's only a legend because he's been here a long time. In the middle ages the plague was a legend too. Hassell is not good enough, gets skinned too easily, is not mobile enough. Yes, he's a good honest player and he is a genuine guy, but I'll say it again - he's not good enough!! As for the people who slate Wiseman as if he's hopeless and is a poor alternative to Hassell I think youre misguided. He's filling a role because Hill is struggling for centre halves and is doing ok (in fact he's better than Foster in my opinion). I do also seem to remember that a few people used to have a pop at Hassell when he arrived here in the first place, so moaning at Wiseman for being out of position is sour grapes and unjustified in the circumstances methinks.

In your opinion ! In the opinion of others Hassel is a better player than Wiseman, but that is what happens , people have differing opinions, you believe that Hill can do no wrong, that is your opinion, not one that many share but it is still an opinion. But only an opinion not a FACT !!

Plus we have sent 2 centre halves out on loan, ones that Hill signed, so why are we short of these defenders?

Watch player highlights and see Scotts performance in the goals by Peterborough,Blackburn,Huddersfield Palace and Forest
if you think he's doing a good job you're deluded. He isn't a centre half and it shows

Hassell is a proven, experienced Championship player, something that we need and already have but gets over looked

if he agrees to be loaned out he's a even bigger legend in my eyes, its only happening to free up wages to get a player in without him moving it won't happen

No hes not. Hes not a barnsley fan or through the youth system. Hes here because hes a wage that hell not get elsewhere.

You could say theres players that want to play for barnsley ans they signed the contracts that started summer 2012.

I've just done an 8 hour shift at work. Perhaps something similar may help you, Hemsworth?
I thought you had changed your ways, but no, you are back to being an obnoxious moron again.
Get a job, lad, get a life, get some perspective.

Once again, you type without knowing anything.

    1) He loves the area and the people. He says that even if he went on loan, he wouldn't move out of the area because he and his family are settled here. He hates people running the town down.

    2) He wants to stay and play for the club. He enjoys working with the youth team and helping them through. John Stones has mentioned how much he owes to Hassell.

    3) He is committed to his work for the church and for the club in the community. I know because I have seen him at Vida and down Oakwell in these programs.

You are losing what little credibility you have with the inaccurate and ill-informed comments that you make.

You are so wrong; Bobby has had chances to leave but he loves playing for the club. He deserves another year and I will be extremely disappointed and angry if he doesn’t get one for non footballing reasons.

He is filling ashirt more than a role. Hill coudl have played Hassell there. Wiseman's best position, in my opinion, is right wing.

I've a tendency to agree he runs pretty well with the ball, but whether he can deliver quality balls in...I'm not sure, probably less of a liability there though.

and non of that makes him a barnsley fan.

you could have said the same about a lot of players. Darren moore (think he might have lived in birmingham area). Preece if you take out the bit about church.

He loves the area and the people. Isn't that the first line from the arsenal book of jokes.

You really are a very blinkered, short-sighted and naive person.
