If i was in charge of recruitment at BFC this summer the one person i would go get

No matter what the cost, would be the marketing manager at Huddersfield Town. the amount of top businesses/company's that are associated with that club are astonishing

Umbro,(not some fly by night two bob 3rd party investor, the company its self, they own there own shop and control whats sold in it)
John Smiths,
rekorderlig cider,
Panasonic Electronics,
Radian B muscle rub,

All the above are all main club sponsors, as well as other major branding on the boards around the pitch,
and I'm sure the training gear had sponsorship on as well yesterday well it looked like it from where i was standing,

This is the area that needs addressing the most this summer, we're lagging so far behind the clubs that are of the same sort of size as us, we should be braking the bank to get someone in who can move us forward in this area, if we want to continue to run the club on just the money it generates, we need to be maximizing the money we generate by investing in someone who can bring major sponsorship deals to the table.

what about wipe arse chip shop, and the main shirt sponsor that no-one knows what it is or what they do.

Huddersfield FC appointed a new Marketing manager as of only the other month (as i used to work with the guy who now has the job)...

So the previous manager may be available? Or may be ***** and was sacked or some unknown reason?!

Your definitely right about bfc lagging behind somewhat with our branding, sponsorship, etc...

C K Beckett seem to recondition electrical switchgear and transformers. Although I went on their website some months ago, I cannot seem to access it now. Does that mean they have gone out of business?

 

They've got an actual businessman owner interested in them.

True, but we must surely have enough fans who run small businesses or are qualified to some degree in marketing. You don't need to be a multimillionaire like Dean Hoyle in order to have a good idea about promoting a business and marketing strategies.
