I'll back whoever comes in because I support TARN. But I think Blackwell would be an awful choice. Apparently he's a top coach, but top coaches dont always make good managers. Leeds were glad to be shut of him. And when you consider he played many players out of position too. He also signed Cadamarteri. And Brian Deane. And Paul Butler. Oh dear.

If its Blackwell, then I disagree with your assumption that 'Shep knows whats happening' as he clearly would not. Blackwell is a 'loser' Because of him Leeds are in the state they are in next bottom and not getting better. All Bates has thrown at the club has not paid off due to the fact that when Blackwell took over they had been promotion prospects and when he left they were Conference possibilities.

My opinion is that Wise will have difficulty improving their prospects and his 'time' as Manager is limited to the next 3 games.

Who are you and what have you done with Nudger?

Maybe the level of drink fuelled sarcasm was so high we all completely missed it. Or someone more conformative has discovered his password???

If it is Blackwell I would be very disappointed with the choice of Barnsley manager (again).

I don't like a lot of the candidates, but Blackwell is the one I REALLY would hate to have as manager. He spent millions and would have got a team relegated.

    RE: Exactly....

Hart should have taken more time followed his demise at Forest. He was already in burn-out mode and never gave himself time to recover. Blackwell had a raw deal at Leeds. People might complain about his signings there, but he got them into the play-offs last season and would you enjoy working under Bates as Chairman? If he comes, I'd back him to do a good job and be a good manager to develop the side from Andy Ritchie's foundations. Anyhow - as former Blunts nmber two, just think how many of the eight available Blun ts we might get on loan - I wouldn't mind Kabba and Lucketti for starters. Better chance with Blackwell - oh! and we could have Blake from Leeds as well.
