if its true what ive read on some twitter feeds about certain BFC players attending rochdale promotion party last night then after being relegated yesday they have no thought for the club or true fans and should never wear the shirt again,we are huting but no that rebuild and re focus is the way forward, bring on next season without the deadwood and so called players that love the club

Why shouldn't they if they have friends there? I was hurting last night, but I still went to my friend's house warming party. Rochdale has no bearing whatsoever on us.

I had a party last night with family and friends and had a great time. Life goes on, relegation or not.

Exactly. No one died. It matters but in the greater scheme of the universe it isn't really that important is it ?

This reminds me of an incident back in about 1983 at the struggling firm where I was working at the time.

The MD disciplined a senior manager for whistling on the shop floor. He got off with a warning. Afterwards he showed me the written record of the disciplinary. The charge was "Whistling in a jovial manner on the shop floor while the company had a large overdraft".

    True story.

I went out & got pissed last night to cheer myself up about going down. Maybe Dawson did the same?

I was thinking that. He might not have even felt like going, but got dragged along to 'cheer him up'. I know that's what happened to me.

I don't care to be honest but if it is true then it does show contempt and a lack of respect. Those are the players that got us relegated, Hill started the downwards spiral and they're all celebrating together. I would think they would have more respect for the club, themselves and the folk who may be losing their jobs as a result of being relegated.

Like I said if it is true. I don't think it is by the way.

Go by all means but keep a lid on broadcasting it given you have just been a leading player in an awful side.

Show a bit of class. Ah, there's the crux of it.

Have you never gone to a party with your old work mates?

I know I have and I still see some mates every month for a few beers.

As others have said he probably needed cheering up.

It also depends on how he acted at this party (if he even went). He may have just put in an appearance to be polite/cheered up. People on here are acting like he was dancing on tables and singing songs about how much he hates Barnsley.

A load of our players will be at Rochdale next season so they might as well show their face at a social event.

Rochdale will be in the same league next season so I doubt it, Bury more like.
