At this joyous time of year when we have finished the mad scrap of overtime and flogging off the pawnable items and spare kids to pay for a Bob Cratchett style Chrimbo for the wife and remaining snappers. I thought seeing as I have kept schtuum til now that I would chuck in my two penneth.

As a bloke the majority of fans think you are great because you have a slightly eccentric character, we love the Keith'isms, we love the trend setting fashion statements that are the Keith hill range of jackets, the sense of humour is good and to be fair the sheer bloody hard work you do for our club is outstanding

In Barnsley we love characters and I can tell you that even though we are down there in the deep brown pooey like substance you have something that is very unique for BFC managers and that is the fans are still with you. Not all !!! I hasten to add but the majority know how hard the job is and what you would like to acheieve for the club going forward. We get it...honestly.

We get the concept of hard work and endeavour, the staying together, the bond with all of us in it together. We really do appreciate all of the efforts of the players who work their conkers off, We get it honestly.

BUT....ha fooled ya, you wasn't expecting an arbut there was ya

Endeavour will only get you so far, working your gonads off will only get you so far, there is an old saying that is work smarter not harder

We have had the constant changes in the team for one reason or another...pick a settled team..,.stick to a plan and play to players strengths...not rocket science but football does tend to get complicated by folk in football when it is a very easy game.

Don't wait for the opposition to dictate a game...get in their faces right from kick off, play at a tempo that blows their minds and attack attack...we can't defend very well so what would you say would counter that? Keegan had it right if we know we are ***** at the back then we will make up for it by going for the jugular up the other end.

Also if you imagine a big brick wall. If you give it one whack with a sledgehammer you may chip a brick or two, but if you hit it and hit it and hit it and hit it eventually you will knock it down. I mean if you have one shot in a game it better be a bloody good one to score, but if you hammer the opposition goal eventually you will crack it. Easy peasy really.

Finally on recruitment as you like to call it, dna is great but class is what makes a difference and the reds fans would happily see one class aquisition than ten average ones... point in fact Craig Hignett years ago.

All in all Keith you are doing a good job but you have to keep the fans with you, dont keep having sly digs at them. Yes they will have a pop at you when we lose and yes the players will get stick when they are ***** but if they cant hack that let them work in a factory for sod all money and see if they enjoy the stick free life. I love the attitude of JOB, Sir Bobby of the Hassle, Fozzy, Steeley etc who acknowledge that they are very lucky to do the job they do and they just get on with it. fans pay good money and are entitled to feel let down and pi**ed off when we are crap or lose. Forums and radio are our only means of venting and it has been the same for every manager in history I bet...ala Fergie in his early years at UTD and he's come through it and had a modicome of success.

Anyway these are the ravings of a loon who in fact will be working on Christmas day...sad **** I am. These are my opinions and I dont expect people to agree with me.........I fecking DEMAND it LOL

Happy Xmas and here's to 2013 being the promotion platform......drugs? what drugs doctor....

Agree with that; first goal is so important.

If like many players have deals that dictate a share of profits from marketing items they promote for the club. I just wonder when the KH Winter jacket collection will be in the club shop. Although Keith I would be a little careful when negotiating the deal with the club, as they have a bit of a dodgy record on the marketing front and the old jackets might not quite get the push you would like. Also watch out for the jackets negotiating a clause unknown to you where they can be sold for a bag of salted or even unsalted nuts if an offer is made

I would like to see a full range of items all in your super style with a winter and rustic theme as the fans take joy in the fantastic way you set trends not follow them. None of this plastic crappy club rain coat for you, you lead the way in stylish out door wear that the fans love to follow. Stuff the Wenger look, miserable sod..we want the Keefy look all smiles and squiresqe tweeds.

Yet more ranting waffle from a saddo just winding down after a days shift at work. For me Boxing day is the new Xmas day right looking forward to turkey and all the veg with a right good stuffing as well.

Night all, or should I say morning all.
