A draw to blackpool is unacceptable they are the whipping boys of this league and we are MASSIVE. We should be beating them by at least 3 clear goals that is the reason why people who haven't been to the game are able to comment as if they were there. 3 points for the remaining games will do as we are massive we may make exeption to the blunts. Just been a realist hth

It's a strange argument. Statistically if you actually have a bigger budget you should be almost guaranteed success.

Last year there were quite a few teams with bigger budgets and better squads than us. This year those teams have been promoted so the quality of the league has decreased. It is reasonable given that we have been told by those in charge at Oakwell that our budget is top 6 that we should finish there.

Now this doesn't mean we will win every week or that other teams will lose just that if we are not taking full advantage of the leg up that we have its reasonable to ask why.

I don't think it's necessarily the results that people are criticising; its the boring football and negative tactics.

I agree with that but it is no worse than what I've seen scince our relegation from the championship. I've become used to watching it now.

The problem is that there has been absolutely no progress (some might say we've gone backwards) since we sacked a club legend who was proven at this level and had a far better record than LJ. I don't see us making any progress under LJ and I'm not alone.

club legend yes and always will be for getting us in the premiership all them years ago. Proven at this level? Really who else did he get promoted exept us? He didn't do much exept that one promotion with us and after that has been at bigger clubs Wendy's and blades with bigger budgets and achieved nothing hence the reason he is currently unemployed. The football under Johnson admittedly is not much better but it is defiantly no worse. And we can't go on sacking we can't afford it and it's getting us no where so we have LJ till eos at least.

This is an argument that comes up every season,
I agree that we cant keep changing the manager , but you were not saying this last year! YOU wanted to change the manager, yet now that, the football is still crap, You want to keep this manager, because YOU like him.
If we get the right manager in then, we have to stick with him, is LJ the right one ? It doesn`t seem so , because for all his waffle and spin and talking about how we are going to attack and press the opponents back, we have seen very fecking little of it at all! We have seen plenty of sideways and backwards passing and slow turgid ***** though, which is just how Oldham played last season!

I didn't appointment him did I. I don't mind the bloke I didn't Wilson either I just felt for the away support with Wilson as our away form was so bad. And sacking LJ 8 games into a season and replace him with whom?

I am dont hire or fire the manager, so my opinion is invalid !
You spent the first few months of last season saying Wilson should be sacked, yet now you are saying we shouldnt keep sacking managers and we should stick with LJ, not because we are better now than we were last season, just because we need to keep the manager! Why not stick with the last manager or the one before that ! The argument you used is one that people that didnt like the previous manager use to try and prove they were right !

We have no right to beat anyone.

We should be trying to win though, from what mates have told me we seemed content with a point

Looking back now I admit we should have given Wilson least till the end of season. But he had my backing from when he took charge until after new year of his 1st full season. But looking further back should flicker and before that hill had more time.
