I think that would be doing Andy a great disservice. Though I'm sure he'd welcome him on the coaching staff.
RE: I think that would be doing Andy a great disservice. yeh i agree. i think he would be a good manager for us, but Ritchie has done better than expected and it would be wrong to out him.
Fair comment But I think this season he has bought best he can afford and also attract. He has built a team this season that looks good for promotion next season. Nosworthy, Gray etc. Players that aren't clapped-out has-beens, that still have chance to develop. These players will benefit from Premier League experience, and come back stronger next season - if only they had kept faith with him.
Take what happened to us for example when we got relegated. I know Wilson weren't sacked and went of his own accord, but getting a new manager in at the start of a season leads to him wanting his own men. Usually with drastic consequences. Hendrie came in, and failed. Tinnion went in at the top with Brizzle City after Wilson was booted out there - look what happened to him. God help Sunderland if Ball gets the job. His chances of success are slim IMO.

RE: Fair comment ******, you got me there!
Well, everyone has to have a couple of older heads in there surely! Breen aint bad, and I wouldn't call Delap and Davis has-beens. Plus Davis and Delap aren't that old are they?

RE: Fair comment Delaps been ruined by injury. Kelvin Davies is too inconsistant Breens legs have gone
