Top marks to the City fans - they were brilliant almost from start to finish. All three sides of the ground were involved, not just those behind the goal. I normally hate drums at football matches but their drummer(s?) really know their stuff. No monotonous bang, bang, bang - it was proper rhythmic drumming and the crowd responded every time. The occasion as a whole was superb today - all of it, apart from the football! We were not really in it, apart from the first ten minutes or so. Let's not get too down about it though. Best to sit back and see where we are in October or November - then we will know if we are making progress. I hoped we'd finish no lower than seventh, but that was only based on a temporary run of form. Beat Rochdale next week (and we will) and everyone goes off for the summer happy (ish).
well I was not there but I will say this The atmosphere will certainly have taken a huge turn up due to the emotions and the meaning of the day... both sets of fans were together. Football was not an issue today. We are safe and sound and we will go again in august. Lee will do his best for us... that's the nature of the fella..... give him a break and give him a chance.
Re: well I was not there but I will say this Always a decent atmosphere at Valley Parade. Oakwell has probably one of the worst around. The ***** we're served up week in week out doesn't help though but still really poor.
Re: well I was not there but I will say this Most stadiums what have a good atmosphere have a drum. Look at palace
Bradford fans are always in great voice! I've been to their matches before with the kids from school and I see fans around town after the match if I go out in Bradford and they are just infectious! I find myself singing along even though I don't support them.
