    James Beattie was **** today...

...I could have scored his goal... he looked slow cumbersome and FAT !!!! he hardly got his head on the ball at all..... waste of money

    Still scored though

He's exactly the type of player we need - then again when would we get to the ball to him in those kind of positions

    What would you prefer

play well and not score or play badly and grab 2 - would rather have the second one to be honest

to me his goal was a tap in which he nearly missed.

thought Webber and Naughton played well though.

we got the ball there today and no-one was there.

Devaney and JCR are more than able to provide the simple balls into those areas, but none of our strikers ever think about getting there at the same time as the ball.

I would have fancied any of our strikers to have scored that goal today

I just thought his all round contribution was poor.

RE: we got the ball there today and no-one was there.

I thought we played well overall and we adjusted to the sendings off better than they did. It also didn't help that Hume was taken out by Morgan. Thought Mossto made some good runs in the box, kept on getting across the defender and then pulling out to make space. Only once was the ball played into the danger area. I'm not knocking disco or JCR far from it all the team put a shift in. I'd like to put a mention in for Moore and Souza.... at the start of the season I thought we'd get mullahed with those two... it's nice to be wrong !!! </p>

I think it was £5m and £15k per week....

and we can't afford that. But I think L'pool red was saying that he's the kind of player that we could do with on a 'wish list' fantasy world..... i don't agree though

one was a tap in that I could have scored and the other was a penalty

    I just don't think he's that good
