Does it weaken LeeJay's position? Just a turgid relegation struggle to look forward to then?

No, not in my opinion. It looks like PC and Ben are determined to see this experiment through regardless of the cost.

We seem to have fallen a fair way when we listen to the JP Trophy bigged up by the manager.

We won't hear him bemoaning week after week about how we got knocked out of the FA Cup.

He probably quite understandably these days talks like a manager whose pips are squeaking. In fact we don't often these days ever get to hear from a manager who has to come up each week with an excuse for so many losses. They're usually sacked.

LJ may be able to yet make his mark by unearthing a managerial vocabulary that has hitherto not existed.......

    e.g. yeah I'm clueless

(this post in no way suggests that LJ should not be given all season to turn us round)

Not one bit, Wigan have a much bigger budget than us. So for this weekend the budget thing does count but it wont mean anything when we play Colchester next week.

Will you be up in Newcastle on Sunday to see your "second team"?

Wigan are the type of teams we should be competing with at this level, so itll be interesting to see the gulf in class.

We will probably lose. He definitely won't get sacked. So no need for the 50 threads on the manager to leave. It's tiresome and boring. It's pretty obvious Cryne is trying to save face by not sacking this manager.
