I think all of those would benefit from some extra financial resource, but in a sensible manner. However, you can dream if you think that new owners chucking money in would result in a reduction of matchday ticket prices. Just have a look what has happened at QPR, when some of the richest people in the world started investing. The ticket prices were hiked by an incredible amount.

If we threw money at the team and got promoted the crowds would come back. If we then hiked the matchday tickets up to £35-40 to pay for it the crowds coming into the ground would be replacing the current fans who would be priced out.

That is one of the most worrying things about a takeover, the ticket prices. Anybody coming in and hiking prices could end up playing in front of an empty stadium, Barnsley fans won't pay top dollar for tickets even if we had Messi and Ronaldo laiking for us.

Why does everyone think that IF we get bought out they'll cut prices? We're a business for Christ sake and again if folk think paying £25/£28 to watch a championship game of football is too much then there deluded.

    End of!

Not exactly, a suspected neurological fault - effects the nervous system, vision and hearing is almost heightened, even though I'm chronically short sighted - if that makes sense. Strobing makes me feel sick and disorientated. Even on tv sometimes, and I find it very hard to concentrate on the action. I suffer the odd away match, West Ham last year, but if was installed at Oakwell I think I'd stop going. :(

Sorry to hear that mate. I know you won't want sympathy but it must be horrible living with something like that.

There's worse things, it's a developing condition and I hope it's peaked. Insomnia is the biggest problem, all sorts of head buzzes and involuntary physical jerking and tension. If I'm out in crowds that's hard, I can't distinguish one conversation from another, so I'm a bit of a social misfit and suffer from appalling concentration levels. Given to intense attacks of panic and anxiety. They try to treat the symptoms, but can't accurately diagnose the cause. I keep it quiet from my Mam so i don't make too much of a deal about it. Some of the old London Tykes notice the difference though when I see them now and again.
I'm more myself on this board than in real life as it goes. :)

    Rebuild the west stand

and subsidise ticket prices to get the ground full again.

    Maybe strengthen the squad slightly.

Good point that, buy the ground back.

    Then rebuild the west stand.
