I know the incentive is probably money, but I can't help but feel pissed off, because we have build a team off winners and they look a really good bunch together and a think they could give the championship a run for its money. This squad is the best weve had for years and they seemingly don't mind to be ready to jump ship and spoil what is good to carry on the trophies and medals theve won. The teams that are rumored to be after are players are not a step up and so I cannot wish them good luck, and I can't help but feel Lee Johnson's trying to take the piss out of us. We shall wait and see, hopefully bfc are ready to respond with our own good signings.
Players are just mulling over their options at the moment. You can't blame them for considering other clubs where they might get something we cannot offer them. Wherever they go, the likes of Isgrove and Brownhill will be wished the best of luck and will always get a clap from me when they come up against the reds.
Short career at best & other than occasional, exceptional circumstances, a player is always going to follow the money. He knows his career could end next match, family to support, good luck to 'em.
Suppose! Forgot when we do well we then have to bend over and take it in the arse everytime, then give them a clap when theve just scored winning goal.
The only players who have left so far didn't belong to us in the first place, so we have no right to be annoyed if we never see any of the loanees ever again. That's the risk you take signing loanees because if they do well others notice.
They did do well for us. Doesn't mean they would do well for us in the Championship. We want players that genuinely want to be here.
