    Afterall, its hardly a confidence booster for him, if AR brings a younger inexperienced player in at centre half. Not seen much of Atkinson, but by all accounts he's a good prospect.

    Why give other teams youngsters experience, but not our own? Makes no sense at all.

    Ritchie feels that he is not quite ready for the Championship yet and will loan him out for first team football in League 1/2. It has already been confirmed that Wallsall want to take him on loan. Trust Ritchie he knows what he is doing.

    I think what people are trying to say is why bring in a kid and play him before one of our own based purely on the fact that he' on Man Ure's books. If it was a proven centre-half things might be different but who'd blame Atkinson if he were to walk away after this?
