    Just been reading some interesting stuff on the BBC about the change in attitude to independence and how that has gone hand in hand with the loss of nationalised industries and institutions.

    The Scottish had a referendum on devolving power in the 70s and they didn't want it, but then, back in those days we had a shared relationship and shared institutions-

    British Steel, the NCB & NUM, British Rail etc.

    Scottish workers had a shared experience, a shared life with their counterparts in the rest of the UK.

    Thatcher changed all that, she tore away all those shared enterprises, she brought this on the UK.

    Summat to think about for Cameron and his cronies.
