    Im Not Been Funny But...

Supporting a Football team is all about having Rivals & in the last few weeks you have said that you hope that 1 of the rivals (leeds) get promotion & another (wednesday) stay up.

    (dunno)

I accept the cash argument, partially

But I still can't help laughing my head off at the thought. Long term we need to do things to attract crowds in our own right we can't just relay on travelling supporters, local derbies etc. Anyway Derby and possibly Birmingham would also attract big crods next season.

Anyway I thought the clip was funny in its own right regardless of who it applies to.

    Yes very convincing argument

Any other discussions are somewhat irrelevant compared to that

we gain a lot more money in the long term than we lose from one game.

And could be better off in points as well. Mind you with our luck bloody Donny would probably replace them and do the double over us next season. :'(

    You missed another one

    "relay on travelling supporters"

Crap spelling I agree. Didn't notice it until my editing time had run out.

Anyway the clip makes a great ring tone!!!!

    Oi ! Watch it.

    I'm still grumpy!!
By the way have you ever heard
"it's not over til the fat lady sings"
    and
"Don't count your chickens before they've hatched"

I really hope this doesn't come back to bite you on the bum.
I am keeping a low profile til we are mathematically safe. I thought you were the wise old one. :)

    Can you clarify that?

Do you want them to go down or not? It wasn't quite clear from your post!

I can't believe that some people on here are worrying about the cash that the blue pigs bring in and what will happen if they are relegated.
    Who cares?
    Who bloody cares?
Sod the cash, we will make it up elsewhere by staying in this league.
I hate Wednesday with a passion and a vengeance - the way they look down on us, patronise us and laugh at us all the time season after season is unacceptable.
My party wil start on Saturday when we are safe and they are down
The Champagne is ready and I willl drink it and try not to gloat too much to Mr Owl, but boy, am I relishing it just as he would be the same
It's all guns out blazing and laughing and gloating
So come on the Reds - that's the most important - a win for us and then Leicester - come on you can beat the S6 failures!
Yes, I know that they will bring in cash and we need it, but let's face it, we get nil points every year from them at the sty and maybe 1 if we are lucky at home.
I'm sick of going to the Pig Pen at Swillsboro full of hope and confidence and then seeing us once again rolling over and losing - a season (or longer - much longer) break from that would be a welcome relief!

Then when we play them at home, the script is written again - we are all 'huff and puff 'with nowt at the end.

I shall keep going, because one day, at Swillsore, we weill beat the sods and I want to be there ...desperately.

Sppons in Wombwell and champagne on Sat night with the knowledg that our beloved Reds are safe and Weds are down
Could Saturday night be any sweeter?
    I don't think so.
It couldn't be for me !
    YoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooReds!
