...who all know their positions and how to play them could have gone out there today, played a straight-forward 4-4-2 and won that match comfortably.

Would that have been 11 of our professional footballers?

And if so which ones, and in which positions?

This is not a defend Davey post. For the first time, today, I'm beyond that.

I thought that was exactly what was happening. Three defensive midfielders all trying to play in the same portion of the pitch, tripping over each other and Campbell Ryce playing where he wanted.

    Agreed. Wasted my afternoon

One of worst games I ever seen. No determination. No formation. No ideas. Poor!

Anderson was fish out of water on the right (and probably pissed off) and seemed to have made his mind up before kick off.

So much for our early season saviour. He's Mr Inconsistent personified, and it's more annoying 'cos he can do it if Jupiter lines with Saturn.

What we saw today was the product of Simon Davey's interference.

    Well that's profound.

    Given that he's the manager.

Anderson is at his best doing Colace's mopping up job.

I think he did overcook things tactically today

We didn't really need to do anything "clever" to be able to win today's game.
